After the conclusion of Harry Styles’ renowned World Tour: Love on Tour in 2023 for his 3rd album, Harry’s House, released in 2022, he decided to step back from his career and take some time for himself. Harry told Apple Music, “I think it’s a good thing to have moments, where you’ve done something for a long time, to kind of stop and check in with yourself: Do I do this because this is what I’ve been doing for a long time, or do I do this because I really love it?” (https://music.apple.com). During his break, he was seen in Italy enjoying time away from the buzz of touring and the paparazzi, and he even took up marathon running in the process! He’s proven again and again to be a man of many talents.
Harry’s first solo albums were incredibly successful, but this album has been his most successful thus far. Before the album was even released, Harry secured and released tickets to a world tour featuring multiple shows in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, Mexico City, Mexico, Sao Paulo, Brazil, London, the UK, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and a whopping 30 nights at MSG in New York, NY. This doubled his 15-show residency at MSG during his last tour. His album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. was released on March 6th, 2026, and surpassed 63 million global streams on Spotify in its first few days, and is set to be the biggest album release of the year (https://open.spotify.com). Ramapo Sophomore, Emma Byrce, commented, “I actually love this album. It’s a 1000/10. The vocals were so impressive.” Since the release, he has been featured at the Brit Awards, appeared on the March 7th episode of SNL hosted by Glenn Powell, and double-headlined as the host and musical guest on SNL on March 14th.
While on SNL, Harry Styles pulled off an amazing performance, both musically and in each sketch. Anyone who knows SNL knows that having double duty on SNL is an amazing feat in itself, but pulling it off with such grace and charisma is something else. He performed his songs, “Dance No More” and “Coming Up Roses,” both from his new album (Rollingstone). Fans seemed to thoroughly enjoy the show, with Hailey Weber, a Ramapo sophomore, stating, “I absolutely loved this episode. I love SNL, and to be honest, it’s one of the funniest episodes I’ve seen so far. ”
This new era for Styles is definitely different and fans cannot wait to see where he goes next.
