After years and years of wondering when the two Spiderman movie stars will finally get engaged, the day has finally come! Actors Zendaya and Tom Holland have been dating since 2017. The public noticed a diamond ring on Zendaya’s left hand at the 2025 Golden Globes. According to People Magazine, the two claimed to have a completely platonic relationship during the filming of the Spiderman movies, but they then confirmed that their relationship was official five years after the filming of Spiderman Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home (People Magazine)
Many love their relationship and are excited to see what’s to come in their new journey as an engaged couple. Dr. Ross, an English teacher at Ramapo loves the couple and comments that, “I think they’re both adorable and great actors! Tom Holland publicly announced in a new interview with Men’s Health that when he is happily married with children, he is going to retire from Hollywood. According to the Miami Herald he said “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore.” He then commented“Golf and dad. And I will just disappear from the earth”(Miami Herald). A lot of people have mixed feelings about this and his idea of him becoming a “normal” person in the future for the sake of his kids. Olivia Vona, a freshman at Ramapo comments that, “He is saying that he wants his kids to live a normal life and not be exposed to the public. I get where he is coming from. It can sound weird, but it makes sense of how he feels and why he doesn’t want his kids to live a life like that.” People worldwide are thrilled for this engagement and can’t wait for what is to come for Zendaya and Tom!
