As we kick off the school year, flyers of clubs promoting their meetings start flooding Schoology and you may feel overwhelmed with all your options, but Rampage is here to help you out! Here are the clubs you should join based on your horoscope:
Aries
Aries are known to be competitive, courageous, and bold (USA Today). Academic Decathlon is a club that requires all of these traits! Acadec competes in competitions leading up to Nationals that revolve around a theme and various aspects of Social Studies, Science, Math, Economics, and Art. It definitely requires a high level of commitment, but would be perfect for any Aries!
Taurus
Taurus are known for their stubbornness, resilience, and dedication, all traits that are fittingly symbolized in the bull (USA Today). A club like Mock Trial is where they would thrive, whether they are a witness or prosecutor. Ms. Gregory is the advisor for the club and remarks, “I think a Taurus would be perfect for Mock Trial!” Ms. Gregory adds, “There is definitely a level of stubbornness and dedication that is helpful when competing!” So, if this sounds like you — give Mock Trial a try!
Gemini
Curious and communicative are the two traits that are associated most with Geminis (USA Today). A club like Junior State of America, where members learn and discuss different points of view on current events, would be perfect for inquisitive students!
Cancer
Cancers are very emotional, as all water signs are, but they are also very intuitive and creative (USA Today). They would be an amazing asset to Ramapo’s art and literary magazine, Serendipity, which publishes every May.
Leo
Represented by the lion, Leos are born leaders, passionate, and bold (USA Today). Model UN is calling your name! In a club where you work as delegates of a country to solve global issues, taking your own initiatives and being bold are amazing skills to have.
Virgo
Virgos are analytical and always strive for perfection (USA Today). Ad Astra, Ramapo’s yearbook club, requires the detail-oriented mind that Virgos have! They are responsible for the photography, layout, editorial, art, and even the business end-of-the-yearbooks that are bought and beloved by students every year.
Libra
Libras love balance, as represented by the scales, and see the best in everything (USA Today). Amnesty International is devoted to recognizing and advocating for universal human rights and would be an amazing place for Libras to exercise their love for justice!
Scorpio

These traits are essential, especially in regional, state, and national competitions that are held annually where students are tested on their business skills.
Sagittarius
Sagittariuses are very adventurous and spontaneous (USA Today). As natural globetrotters, participating in a club such as Spanish Club, French Club, Italian Club, or Asian Club would be a great way to explore the different cultures and languages that are part of the Po community.
Capricorn
While many label Capricorns as stubborn, it also means that they are incredibly persistent and hardworking (USA Today). If this sounds like you, Rampage would be a perfect fit! Co-president of Rampage Victoria Acunto says, “Rampage club surrounds the idea that students are capable of creating and having their voices heard.” She also explains that persistence is “a key element” as students need to be dedicated with writing articles, brainstorming ideas, and reaching out to students and staff!
Aquarius
Because they are known for being incredibly creative, innovative, and altruistic — Aquarians would be a great fit for the Interact Club (USA Today). They offer an abundance of community service opportunities both in and out of school that would be great outlets for these traits.
Pisces
Pisces are emotional, empathetic, and artistic (USA Today). Photography Club would be a great way to channel this emotion into art! Photography Club’s co-president, Hanna Weingartz, shares, “I think these traits are important for photographers to have in order to express their emotions through a single photograph,” she adds, “It can also be a source of inspiration and creativity to capture a single moment in time or to capture something words can’t communicate.”
