Beyonce is known to be one of the most influential people in the music industry, (AS.com) shares that she has now become record-breaking with 32 Grammy wins. Yet, her name is currently blowing up the internet more than ever before. On whether her relationship with rapper Sean Combs (P. Diddy), and her husband Shawn Carter (Jay- Z), correlate with the fatal accidents of Tupac, Aaliyah, Left-Eye, and Michel Jackson? Conspiracy theories have risen, stemming from famous artists religiously thanking Beyonce for the music industry that she has created. Many are suspecting that the reason the artists are thanking Queen B, is so they don’t encounter the same fate as Aaliyah, and Left Eye. (IMDb.com) claims that’s why in the 2009’s VMA Awards Kanye West Interrupted Taylor Swift as she had just been nominated as best Female Song Video. Kanye thanked Beyonce saved Taylor for a tragic fate by saying how he believed Beyonce should have won that award. The major question, however, is whether or not these praises have been out of actual gratitude, or fear.
A Junior currently attending Ramapo High School, Julia Roth has been keeping up with the TikTok stories that have been flooding her “For You” Page. She tries her best not to be biased on whose side she agrees most with whether it’s the press or Beyonce. She claims, “ I usually try not to agree with what social media conveys because they always try to portray the celebrity as a monster, but it just so happens that everything just perfectly lines up. There’s an argument between artists, they attend one of the famous P. Diddy parties, and from there, somehow end up killed.”
Many people are starting to believe that Beyonce used P. Diddy’s parties and the people who attend them as a way to control their music industry. (Tribune.com) believes that two of the extreme pop artists at the time, Alyiah and Left-Eye, were some of Beyonce’s Victims in the scandal. Being a top competitor, Beyonce did not like the competition these artists were giving her, so the only option she had was to eliminate them. Queen B invited these two singers to the famous White parties also known as freak-offs, and Diddy parties. There she gained a close relationship with these artists so there would be no suspect as to what’s to come. (Tribune.com) then shared how both artists had died unexpectedly in a plane crash and a car crash.
One of the Ramapo staff, Mrs. Paola Rodreguiez does not truly listen to the allegations that are being shared online because she believes that, “It’s always been the press’ job to take the truth and turn it around into something ugly.” She continues to claim that many celebrities encounter this type of controversy when their fame rises.
Much of this information that travels around on the internet could very much just be rumors, but it does make great celebrity gossip.
